Greetings, my friends, in the name of Jesus.
As I thought about how my day has been going, I thank God that HE keeps surrounding me with the anointed and appointed. I am standing in HIS promises, I am keeping my faith in Christ Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. (Hebrews 12:2, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (KJV)
In November of 2009 I wrote a blog, "Surround Yourself With The Anointed". In that blog, I shared what my pastor, Rev. Dr. Felix G. Williams, III had told his congregation. Rev. Williams told the congregation that as Christians we should be surrounding ourselves with anointed folk. After this sermon from Rev.Dr. Williams, I had attended Sisters Keeping The Covenant Conference, where I met Rev. Maxine Thomas of St. Paul AME Church in Lexington, KY. Rev. Thomas is a woman who is on fire for the Lord. The women's conference was such a blessing to me, I left there feeling rejuvenated and excited about my Christian walk, and I wanted to do more in my walk with Christ. I wanted to follow up on those conference topics. What I did was to conduct an internet search on women in ministry, and I came across Rev. Angela Lee Price's website, www.jesussavesministries.ning.com. My friends, I can tell you that ever since I visited Rev. Price's website, I have become even more excited about my service to God. This woman is an anointed servant of God. Her blogs, the "groups" such as Clean Up Woman, The Prayer of the Righteous, the discussion topics on her site, and just everyday conversation with her give me encouragement to keep doing what I am doing. She also encourages me to keep on going in my walk with Christ.
My friends, Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with the wise, grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." When we surround ourselves with anointed and wise people, we ourselves get wise and God will anoint us as we keep doing what He wants us to do. Proverbs 14:7 warns us to keep away from fools because they can't teach us anything. The apostle, Paul, in 2 Thessalonians 3:6, commands us to keep away and withdraw ourselves from every person that walketh disorderly and who does not follow the teachings they have been given.
I don't know about you, but I know that I will continue to walk in obedience and keep surrounding myself with those who love and follow the teachings of the Lord. I am not talking about those who have one foot in the door and the other foot out. I am talking about my brothers and sisters in Christ who have both feet in the door. I am talking about those disciples who speak life. I am talking about my brothers and sisters who teach about God's free gift to us, salvation.
I am surrounding myself with people who are anointed and appointed.
God bless,

Standing On The Promises of God
Greetings!
Have you ever been disappointed one too many times? I certainly have, and then I am reminded of the phrase we used in Belize, "promises are meant to comfort a fool." So now, my friends, I am relying on God's promises because I have been disappointed one too many times by man when the promises are not fulfilled. Glory to God, David, in the Book of Psalm 145, stanzas 13-14 encourages me, "... The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does.[c] The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down." (NIV)
My friends, I am standing on the promises of God because I have the victory.
As Tye Tribbett sings, "I've got the victory, the victory because whatever situation I face, I win..." My friends, if you want the victory, if you want to be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, if you want to win, turn to the promises of the Lord. Just turn your life over to the Lord and submit to His will. God will give you the victory because that is what He promises to those who call on His name.
In Psalm 145:20, "The Lord watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy." (NIV) We just need to stand on the promises of the Lord because we know that the Lord is good to everyone and is kind and shows mercy. As the psalmist emphasized to us in stanza 17, "The LORD is righteous in all His ways and faithful in all He does." (NIV) I am surely relying on the promises of the Lord! I know HE will never disappoint me.
Be blessed,

This Is The Year Of New Beginnings
Girl, just look at you, with your pretty self.
You are so beautiful! Not only are you beautiful, but you have the nerve to be talented and gifted by God.
Hold your head up Girl, and know that you are loved and appreciated. Don’t give the enemy any place to cause you to have low self-esteem or doubt. You are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made.
This is your year to decree it and speak it! This is the year of new beginnings. So get your step on Girl, because God is faithful to perform all that HE has promised to you! Be confident in HIM and HIS word. The words you speak from your mouth determine your outcome. Why not speak good and positive things over your life Girl? You are not defeated but rather you are more than a conqueror.
You have been through a lot in your life and look at you now, just as pretty and as strong as ever! Oh, how blessed you are. Look what God has done and look where HE has brought you from. Begin to bless GOD and praise HIM for all that HE has done, and for making you so beautiful! HE had you in HIS precious hands all the time. Your life is orchestrated by HIM. HE knows you and what is best for you. Believe that HE has even greater things in store for you and your family.
Girl, get over the silly stuff and grab hold of faith. Seek God as never before. Sure, times are hard, but GOD is good! Learn to love who HE has made you to be.
There is no one like you.

What To Do When Your Adversary Provoke You
Greetings my friends, in the name of Jesus!
I came across a serious, praying sister! A sister who was provoked to wrath by her adversary. 1 Samuel 1:6, "And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb." This sister, Hannah, is an original prayer warrior! Hannah's story is recorded in The First Book of Samuel 1. Hannah was constantly provoked to wrath because her womb was closed, she did not have a child, and so her husband's other wife would provoke her sorely. Hannah could not take it any longer. Now, this is a virtuous woman. Hannah did not fuss or cuss or fight with her adversary. What she did was the most powerful thing a woman could do and that is PRAY. Hannah put herself at the mercy of God, she prayed and prayed. She prayed where only her lips moved but her voice was not heard and so Eli, the priest, thought she was drunk! 1 Samuel 1:12-13, "And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken." Hannah was in prayer, serious prayer with God.
Friends, Hannah is a perfect example of how we should deal with our adversaries. LET GOD. Hannah did not talk sorely about her adversary, nor did not fight the adversary. She took the situation to the Lord. That's what we need to do when our adversaries provoke us. Instead of calling this one and that one who only makes our situations worse, we should take it to the Lord in prayer. We see God favoring Hannah, answering her prayer! Hannah, my friends, prayed again to God just as intensely after HE blessed her womb and gave her a child. She did not forget to thank God for HIS blessing. She prayed and praised God. 1 Samuel 1:26-28, "And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD. For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there." This is the best victory someone can get. When God answers our prayers, the adversaries are put in shame!
It is time we pray and pray and pray sorely, and weep sorely to the Lord bringing forth our petitions. Hannah, my friends, prayed again to God just as intensely after HE blessed her womb and gave her a child. She did not forget to thank God for HIS blessing. She prayed and praised God. This is the example we need to take with our lives. Pray and praise during the bad times and pray and praise during the good times.

Praise God, Always
Greetings, my friends, in the name of Jesus!
I pray all is well with you. God has been so good to us, let us give HIM a hallelujah shout! Why should our praise not quit? Rev. Dr. Beecher Hicks, had told the flock Mt. Calvary Baptist Church:
1) Our praise should not quit because God favors us with unexpected blessings;
2) Our praise should not quit because when we are favored with God’s blessings, it is obvious to others that we are blessed;
3) Our praise should not quit because when we are blessed, the people in our circle “get it”; they too get blessed!
Life seems to be getting you down? Give God a hallelujah shout! Bad news about your health? Give God a hallelujah shout! Children acting like they have lost their minds? Give God a hallelujah shout. Our praise should not quit no matter how dire our situations may be. Friends, do not let life's circumstances stop you from praising God. God is faithful to us and HE expects us to be faithful to HIM. Get your praise on, my friends! Praise Him in the morning, praise Him in the noon time, praise Him in the nighttime, just praise Him, praise Him, praise Him.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

For I Am Persuaded Nothing Can Separate Me From The Love Of God
Greetings, my friends, in the name of Jesus!
God just keeps showing me HIS love, and I thank Him for every blessing He has bestowed upon me and my family!
My Pastor, Rev. Dr. Felix G. Williams, III, Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, had once said that favor is not fair. Guess what? I have personally found that he was right in making such bold statement. Favor, said Rev. Dr. Williams, is a blessing God gives us even when we do not deserve it. I thank God for favor. To back-up Rev. Dr. Williams' statement, Rev. Jamal Bryant the week after told his congregation that when the anointing of God comes in their lives, no one can separate them from the love of God. Rev. Bryant went on to say that it does not matter who likes you or who does not like you, because all that matter is the love of God. And, he said, because you have the love of God, He has re-written your life!
My friends, God has re-written my life, He has re-written all the bad into good. God has favored me with HIS mercy and grace. God is opening up doors for me. God is replacing people in my life. All I want to do is shout about it! All I want to do is dance about it! All I want to do is sing about it! All I want to do is praise God for it!
Paul, in the Book of Romans 8:35-39 posed to us, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (KJV)
God has surely re-written my life, and nothing and no one will separate me from the love of God, which in Christ Jesus our Lord! I will forever serve GOD with my whole heart, with my whole mind, and with my whole soul, and I pray you will too!

A Kept Woman
I pray everyone is doing well.
This weekend I traveled to Louisville to bring awareness about the services of SISTERS ROAD TO FREEDOM, INC. I had a blessed time in the Lord, ministering and sharing about our Lord Savior Jesus Christ, and educating participants about SISTERS ROAD TO FREEDOM, INC.
Driving back from Louisville to Lexington, I thought about God's goodness. There are no words to express God's goodness in my life. All I could do was prayed and praised my way back home! I am a kept woman, God has brought me a mighty long way and I will be forever grateful.
I want to share this with you:
I Am a 'Kept' Woman!
You see, there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind, but GOD kept me sane.
(Isa. 26:3)
There were times when I thought I could go no longer, but the LORD kept me moving. (Gen 28:15)
At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong, but the LORD kept my mouth shut. (Psa. 13)
Sometimes, I think the money just isn't enough,
but GOD has helped me to keep the lights on, the water on, the car paid, the house paid, etc.., (Matt. 6:25 -34)
When I thought I would fall, HE kept me up.
When I thought I was weak, HE kept me strong! (I Pet. 5:7, Matt. 11:28-30)
I could go on and on and on, but I'm sure you hear me!
I'm blessed to be 'kept'! Thank you Father.
God bless,

EXPOSURE - Temptation to Holiness
Greetings, friends in the sweet name of Jesus!
As I sit and reflect on my life as it today, my spiritual life, I am thanking God for HIS mercy and grace. You see, there is a formula to getting from temptation to holiness! I have that easy formula as was given to me by Senior Pastor, Jon Weese of Southland Christian Church. Pastor Weese had said, "you expose yourself to the truth - read at least 30 minutes from the Bible each day." Pastor Weese's sermon was taken from James 1:1-25 --he was preaching about suffering leads to joy; poverty leads to wealth; temptation leads to holiness; listening leads to faith. He went on to preach that we should read and reflect on God's Word. I started dedicating time to not only reading, but actually studying God's word, and then reflect and mediate on HIS word. Paul, in Galatians 6:16, wrote that we must live by following the spirit then we will not do what our sinful selves want. Amen. Today, I can tell you that the Holy Spirit is my guide. The Holy Spirit is my help.
The same way we expose ourselves to the things that are not of God, the same way we must expose ourselves to God's word. Spiritual exposure is needed if you want to move forward on the road to life.
