It Is Time To Give It All To God

Greetings, my friends!

I pray all is well with you. Today, I have a simple message for you ... GOD wants it ALL today. I am serious, God wants it all. HE wants HIS children to give HIM everything that is bothering them, that is holding them down, that is making them sad ... HE wants it ALL.

Rev. Tina Findley of Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center in Louisville, Kentucky made it clear that God wants to give us healing of everything. She said that as believers, God gives us what she called the "Three "E's" of Healing". Rev. Findley indicated that God wants it all that is why HE gave us an Exodus.

Exodus, indicated Rev. Findley, is God's way of delivering us from captivity. Psalm 34:19, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all." (KJV) God wants it all, and so we must exchange our bondage and baggage with HIM. Rev. Findley said that an exchange is God's way of taking our baggage away. Psalm 30:11, "Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness." (KJV) When we have our exodus and our exchange with God, HE gives us that excess. Rev. Findley said that excess is the state of abundance enjoyed by God's children. Ephesians 3:20 tells us, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." (KJV)

Friends, I can tell you from my own personal experience that because I gave it all to God, I am finally reaping the benefits that surrendering to God brings. I have exchanged my shame, my pride, and my fear with the Lord. Now, I am bold, I am humble, I am a witness for our Lord, and I do not fear because I know the Lord is my light and my salvation!

I pray God's mercy and grace.

God bless,

I AM "B*R*O*K*E*N"

My friends, greetings!

Today, I am rejoicing because I am BROKEN! Yes, a sister once lost now found; a sister who was walking on the wide road of destruction, but crossed over to the narrow road of life!

Rev. Bruce W. Burns, Sr., former Pastor of Keas Tabernacle C.M.E. Church in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky said that women of God are "BROKEN", and I agree with him! Here is why. Friends, Rev. Burns let women know just how broken we are. He said that women of God are BLESSED; REDEEMED; OVERCOMERS; KNOWLEDGEABLE; ENCOURAGERS; NURTURERS. (Rev. Burns, 3rd Annual Keas Tabernacle C.M.E. Church Women's Day Conference) Thank you Lord, and thank you Rev. Burns for that reinforcement.

Even though Rev. Burns were speaking to women, this message is for men too. As children of God, we must realize that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (KJV) When the Son sets us free, HE breaks us away from those things that bring grief to our Lord. Friends, when we are set free, we have broken away from the things and people that had us in bondage.

We can all be BROKEN -- it requires obedience to God; it requires a prayer life, consistent prayer; it requires trusting and depending on God with all our hearts, minds and souls. When we are BROKEN, we are not ashamed to speak of God's goodness, grace and mercy over our lives.

BLESSED - Psalm 1:1-6
REDEEMED - Psalm 107:2
OVERCOMER - Revelation 12:11
KNOWLEDGEABLE - Acts 17
ENCOURAGER - Hebrews 10:24-25
NURTURER - Ephesians 6:4

Working Towards Being That Virtuous Woman Of God

Greetings, in the name of Jesus!

Every now and then I do a self-assessment. After having a blessed and successful day with the women, through SISTERS ROAD TO FREEDOM, I knew it was time for that self-assessment. For me, as a single, Christian woman, it is very important, not only for my walk with Christ, but for my own personal life. "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." Proverbs 31:10 (KJV) In my assessment, I found that I must continue to be able to put up with hardships, pain and trouble that come my way without getting angry and upset. I can only deal with those through continuous prayer and self-control. The Holy Spirit, I know, will be my guide. As King Lemuel's mother had prophesied to him, "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised." Proverbs 31, 30 (KJV)

Rejoice With Me!

Greetings, my friends, in the name of Jesus!
Feeling overwhelmed? You are not alone! I have been overwhelmed with God's goodness and mercy!

I told my story; I gave my testimony to the readers of the Lexington Herald Leader. As I look back at how far God has brought me, I just want to shout, shout, shout with everything I have in me! I am giving God the glory for HE has given me the gift of salvation; HE has redeemed me!

Friends, today I am asking you to rejoice with me for I have found that piece which I had lost! That missing piece .... my sweet Jesus! Luke 15:10, "Likewise I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth." (KJV) As my pastor, Rev. Felix G. William, III always declare, "aint nobody mad but ... the devil!"

I found my way home, a sinner once lost but now found. What a peace and joy I have in my heart, way down in my heart!

I will forever put my trust in the Lord.

Be blessed,

Support Sisters Road To Freedom, Inc.

Greetings, my friends!

I am so thrilled to let you know of Sisters Road To Freedom, Inc. It is a ministry providing inspiration and encouragement to women. This ministry is as a result of my walk on the road to freedom, that is, road to life. As Matthew 7:13-14 tells us, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (KJV)

Sisters, it is time we get on the road to freedom. It is time we get serious about our walk with Christ. I pray that you will support this ministry. I pray that you will join me on this narrow road, the road to eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

These bowls can be yours in support of the ministry for a donation of $20.00 or $15.00. Please contact me at theresewarrick@insightbb.com if you would like to support the ministry.

This ministry will be outreaching in the community. There is a "Saturday Interaction" for Sisters scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Lexington Public Library, Northside Branch located at 1733 Russell Cave Road, Lexington, KY. This Interaction of Sisters starts at 12:30 p.m.

I pray you find it in your heart to support this ministry as we reach out to women in the community. Thank you.

God bless.

No Shame In Starting Over

My friends, greetings, in the name of the Lord! I pray everything is well with you and your families.
Thanks to Facebook, I have been reconnecting with high school classmates, neighborhood friends, and meeting new friends. Some are not surprised by my passion for ministry, while others are quite surprised that I am following the Lord! You see, I have not always been on the road to life. I thank God for my new beginning, for my new starting over in life!

You remember a TV show called, "Starting Over"? It is an American reality TV show that followed the lives of women who were experiencing difficulty in their lives and wanted to make changes, with the help of life coaches. Six women at a time worked to overcome obstacles and worked to meet personal goals. When it was determined that a woman had met all her goals, she "graduated" from the house and was then replaced by a new roommate. On the other hand, if it was determined that she had not met her goals, she could be put on probation, or even asked to leave. (Wikipedia.org) My friends, God gives us a fresh start each and every day when He wakes us up. God promises us that if we obey His commandments we will be rewarded in Heaven. The great Psalmist, King David, reassures us in Psalm 145:14 that "the Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down." (KJV)

To get a fresh start in life, we do not need to hire any life coaches, we do not need to go on any reality tv show; we only need God in our lives. In these bad economic times, everything God wants to give us and do for us is FREE! God promises us success, long life, peace, happiness and joy when we obey His commandments. I am a "Start Over" woman. Thanks be to God, I am redeemed, and God gave me a fresh, new beginning to start over. I got that start over when I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior. I confessed my sins and I was forgiven. I asked the Lord to create in me a clean heart and to renew my spirit.

Starting over is the best decision you can make in these last of times. When God gives us a fresh start, a starting over, and we strive for obedience to His will, we enjoy God's grace and mercy and favor! When we start over and strive for obedience to God, Romans 5:1-5 tells us, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." (KJV).

Friends, have you been thinking about your new beginning? Have you been thinking it is time for a fresh start? Today is the day. Make that decision. There are three easy steps in starting over:
1)ADMIT that you are a sinner. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
2)BELIEVE that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, on this earth. Jesus was crucified, He died and was buried. But on the third day, He arose from the grave. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
3)CONFESS your sins and ask God to come into your heart. "For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

My friends, three easy and simple steps, no life coach is required to take these steps. Do it today, do it now because tomorrow is not promised. I pray today for God's mercy on us; I pray that we may walk in the path of the Lord. I pray that you will be courageous and get your new beginning.

God bless,
Therese from Belize

Passing A Process To Receive The Blessing

Greetings my friends, in the name of Jesus.
I remembered back in 2009, Rev. Dr. Cecelia Williams-Bryant told women at the Sisters Keeping The Covenant conference in Lexington that intercession is an "at-risk" procedure, but women must become bold and partake in such procedure.

Last night, at Joint Heirs With Christ Ministry in the village of Ladyville, Belize District, Pastor Oscar of Santo Domingo, preached that "you have to pass a process to receive a blessing." What is that process? The process, preached Pastor Oscar, is intercession through prayer and fasting. He says that you must pray to get the blessing.

My Sister, Inda, and I had studied early Sunday morning the text found in 1 Samuel 1:9-13, where we are told of Hannah's distress for a son. Hannah prayed to the Lord continuously, she cried bitterly as she prayed, she prayed silently; she prayed with her lips moving but no sounds coming out. Pastor Oscar in his sermon directed the congregation to the same text Ind ns I had studied earlier in the morning, 1 Samuel 1:9-13, "And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard..." (KJV) In verse 19, we see that Hannah's prayer was answered, Hannah got pregnant with a son. Glory!

Friends, when we pray continuously and unceasingly God will answer our prayers. What are you praying for today? Are you praying continuously and unceasingly? Are you fasting? Are you praying believing that God is hearing your cry as He did with Hannah? Friends, prayer is the key, prayer is the key. Keep God first, believe in His promises, and just keep praying unceasingly. I thank God for the power of the Holy Spirit.

God bless,

Therese from Belize
